Every child is unique, and their strengths and needs are influenced by a complex interaction between genetic and environmental factors. These factors can include one's family history, sociocultural factors, past experiences, and individual child characteristics.
This means that what appears to be a minor concern for one child, can be a MAJOR challenge for another child.
It is a complex process to gain a true understanding of an individual child’s strengths and needs, and to develop a plan to help support the child. Learn more about my team...
In October 2018, I opened my practice, where I could provide services to children and adolescents in the Scarborough and Toronto east areas (East York, Beaches, Durham region), as these areas are highly underserved, with limited access to psychological services.
At my practice, my team and I provide psychological assessments, consultation, and therapy/counselling to children and adolescents.
We can access a team of interpreters/translators who can help provide support to families in a variety of languages.
